At Pristine Finnish Dog Grooming we offer a wide range of grooming services for dogs. We have experience with a variety of breeds and will provide your pet with the best care possible. By booking and attending your appointment you agree to the following salon policies, procedures, terms and conditions -

• We ask that any changes or cancellations be made 24 hours prior to your appointment to avoid fees, this then gives us time to fill that appointment.
• Late cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a 50% fee of your dogs grooming fee. Any no shows will incur a 50% fee and repeat ‘offenders’ will need to pay a non-refundable deposit when booking their next appointment.
• If you are running late, we ask that you please advise us via a phone call or message. 
• The salon is run by appointment, if you are more than 15 minutes late this impacts the entire day. If we have not been advised within 30 minutes of your appointment start time, your appointment will be cancelled.

*fees to be charged are at management’s discretion.

• We reserve the right to modify your dog’s grooming and price in accordance with coat condition (which will be explained to you upon discussing your dogs groom) 
  • if it has been longer than 8 weeks between visits;
  • if groomer feels no brushing or general upkeep has been undertaken at home in between visits;
  • if your dog is matted and staff feel it is cruel and painful for the dog to be groomed out;
  • If your dog is matted and staff feel an injury may occur in the process of brushing/combing/dematting (this may cause rashing/haematoma’s etc.)
• Whilst we take all due care to ensure no injury occurs during your dog’s grooming visit, IF your dog does sustain an injury as a DIRECT result of the condition of your dog’s coat, we will not be held responsible.
• If groomer/s notice fleas on your dog, a flea treatment will be given (unless previously stated otherwise by owner)
• If you are unhappy or have concerns with your experience at Pristine Finnish Dog Grooming  we ask that you bring this to our attention and allow us the chance to resolve the issue. This is very important especially when lengths of coat are involved e.g. what is short to us may not be short to you. We appreciate your feedback and honesty. 

• All prices, given over the phone or via messenger without having personally assessed your dog, are an estimate only and are subject to change at management’s discretion.
• Extra charges may apply due to excessive matting or extra time grooming. 
• Extra charges may apply for flea treatments where needed.
• Extra charges may occur for aggressive dogs, biting or other behavioral issues please inform groomer/s of this when booking your appointment. 

• DO NOT OPEN THE GATE unless it is your pick up or drop off time, please SHUT THE GATE behind you and DO NOT enter if you can see dogs in the yard this is for ALL dog’s safety!
• Please bring your dog into the salon with a lead and collar/harness.
• Abuse, in any form, to the groomer and or manager will not be tolerated and will result in refusal of service and possible fees. 

• While the utmost care is taken in ensuring your pets health and wellness this also relies on others   ensuring the correct steps are taken.   Cleaning and disinfecting is undertaken after each client and at the end of the day. This does not always stop the spread of any germs. Groomers and managers will be honest and prompt in conveying health messages when and if needed. 
• Please ensure all pets are up to date and current with their worming and flea treatments. 
• Please ensure your pet is up to date with vaccines and boosters. 
• If your pet is unwell or displaying symptoms of becoming unwell please message or call to reschedule. 
• Please DO NOT bring your dog to the salon if they are experiencing the following Vomiting, Diarrhea, kennel cough symptoms, any unexplained skin issues or open wounds. 
• Dogs residing on the property are all up to date with vaccinations, health checks, and flea/worm treatments to ensure your pets safety. 
• YOUNG PUPPIES are welcome in the salon after their vaccinations this is usually around the 16 week mark.
